Meeting was called to order at 10:15 am. by Chairman Isaac Valdes.

Secretaries Report – Read by all. Antoino motions to accept, Clara seconds. Passed.

Treasurer’s Report – (TIB $32119.42) Sharona motions to accept. Sabrina seconds. Passed.

PC Report- No Report. No quorum, so no meeting. Sharona motions to call Board Members to fill in when PC does not have enough members to make a quorum Antonio seconds. Passed. Antonio motions that all official CPS business has to be conducted at a regular scheduled Board Meeting. Sharona 2nds. Passed.

Clara motions to accept PC report, Sharona seconds. Passed.

Pier Manager Report- Chris reports no problems. Antoino asks Kris who counts the money at the end of the night. Kris says the police officer on duty has been counting his money. Antoino tells the Board he has not been given any money to count at the end of the nights and he has not been given the copies of the deposit slips by Kris.

Isaac says some artist are setting up over there their gray line and asks Chris to please enforce the gray line set up rule.

Rex suggests he and Chris work with the PC committee and come to agreements on the rules and regulations. Clara motions to accept the pier manager’s report, Sharona seconds. Passed.

Performer Report – Hot Dog Dave complains that the performers are not filling the pier before using the plaza.

Michael P. says switching is not allowed and is being done a lot lately.

Isaac says the lease is for the pier only, the plaza is for over flow only.

If performers are not set up in their space by ½ hour after lottery then they forfeit their setup for the night.

Performers can not change spaces with each other or share space

Sabrina suggests 15 minutes between all shows that are in the plaza. No show in the plaza area can start until 15 minutes after another show ends.

Instead of 15 minutes between shows the board agrees on 5 minutes between shows in the plaza area only. Jeep states that Pete made the 5-minute rule and it works. Michael P. also says the 5-minute rule works. Dale agrees

Jeep mentions performers selling items on the pier. Isaac makes him aware of the guidelines in our lease that limits performers to CD’s and DVD’s. Michael brings up the performers committee and membership. Jeep mentions there is a new committee. Isaac mentions that if there are no minutes there is no new committee. Jeep mentions that there are minutes. Board will investigate.

Old Business – Natalie- After further review by the Board, Natalie is allowed to paint her art only on the items she presented in front of the Board. Any additional items need to be presented to PC first.
