Board Meeting 10/03/07

Meeting was called to order by Chairman Wendel Winko at 10:06.

Roll Call: Present were Chairman Wendel Winko, Secretary Ryan Stimers, Myles Hupp, Michael Shields.

The financial report was presented. Our savings are at 54K which is down from last month. If we drop below 36K we will need to raise setup fee. This does not seem likely.

Ryan made a motion to accept the financial report, Myles seconded, passed.

Wink mentioned a fashion show that wants to use Mallory square on Feb 9th 2009. He had told them to get in contact closer to the event.

Wink is in contact with a car show that wants to use Mallory square on Nov 3rd. Ben Gibson should be in on the loop on this. Ryan and Michael S. will contact the organizers, Bill Murphy of Fairvilla is one of the sponsors of this and could be contacted.

Wink reports on what will happen in the pier renovation. The work will start in May, and will be done in narrow strips 25 to 50 feet wide. It should take 6 months.

The PC report was given by Barbara Winko.

Ryan made a motion to accept the PC report, Myles seconded. Passed.

Pier managers report.

Pier is quiet with about 32 vendors in attendance each night.

Andy filed a complaint in regards to an interaction between himself and Wink. There was a discussion in the topic.

Jeep reported that there had been no meeting of the performers committee, and reported no issues. There was some discussion in regards to dale being drunk on the pier. Andy is asked to be more strict with Dale and to log any incidents.

Ryan made a motion to accept the performers report, Myles seconded. Passed.

Ryan reports that the Fantasy Fest ad is moving forward.

There will be a general membership meeting at the el Gato Building Dec 10th 12-2 we will discuss bylaws and elect a new board.

We need a nominating committee. They will assemble a group of nominees for the board and present them on November 1st

Ryan made a motion that the committee be comprised of himself, Susanne Buxton, OJ, and Jeep. Myles seconded, passed.

Wink said this will be his last meeting. There was no discussion.
