Meeting called to order at 9:58

In attendance: Don Sullivan, Susan Schaal, Elise Scott, Danielle Wittler, Dominique, Christine Bivens and Lee Anne McCarthy

Comments from the members:

Additions to the agenda:

  1. Susan (letter of complaint).

  2. PC concerns (Roberts doing shells on pier).

  3. Joanne concern with tuba playing with Jeep (pier manager will be taking care of it).

  2. Reports:

  1. Secretary Report (including the minutes). Motion to accept by Don, 2nd by Lee Anne.

  2. Treasurers Report. Motion to accept by Don, 2nd by Elise.

  3. Participation Committee Report: (see attached). Motion to accept by Don, 2nd by Elise.

  4. Pier Managers Report: (see attached). Motion to accept by Elise, 2nd by Lee Anne.

  5. Performers Committee Report: (no report).

  1. Old Business:

  1. New Event committee signup sheet was posted at the kiosk. Joyce, Susanne, Dotty, Elise and Lee Anne are on the committee. Our first meeting to brainstorm event will be on Tuesday, September 27th.

  2. Letter to Ocean Key Resort (Christine): She is not willing to write letter until she hears add that they are doing. Elise will be working with her.

  3. Susan resigned as President of CPS. Don is now the President.

  1. New Business:

  1. Nomination Committee signup sheet will be posted at the kiosk.

  2. There was a concern about Robert doing the shells on the pier. It was stated that the chemical that he uses were dangerous. It was proven by the fire marshal and a letter was written to the effect that it is not dangerous to use on the pier.

  3. Making appointment with Margaret Scanlon (city) to remedy lease and back charges.
