- C. Participation Committee Report: Minutes from 11.21.11. There were
five members present at the meeting: Jeffrey, Ron, Dragana, Melanie, and
Harriett. There were 3 add-ons and 2 new applications. 1) John Graffeo was
approved pending board approval to add –on hot flavored lattes (same as his
cold ones) also he is adding a hot chai tea, hot chocolate, an ice tea
(southern style sweet tea), café con leche, and would like to offer
chocolate milk for the kids. The concern is whether the sweet tea can be
added as Conch Fritter Mike already has iced tea and if the milk product is
a issue. 2) Antonio Rodriguez wants to add on a separate function for him
and will have to do a demonstration. We have approved his idea however of
his working as a performer selling art, of course privy to the performer’s
rules, lottery, crowed control etc. He wants to airbrush T-shirts while
customer is wearing or premade. 3) Odalys Zuaznabar was approved to add on
mixed media as well as painting and drawing assembled in 3d in layers. She
also will be doing hand painted glass ornaments, and decorated mannequins
painted and beaded. She now has added on a number of items and will be
providing us a list of which she will be selling.
- D. Pier Managers Report: see attached. Motion to accept by Lee Anne, 2nd
by Danielle.
- E. Performers Committee: no report. Motion to accept by Lee Anne and
Danielle.
3) Lynnwood Salvo was approved for his original watercolor paintings on
various sizes of paper or rag. They are all originals in plastic sleeves.
4) Jon Reeves was approved for his coconut paintings. Lastly, we wonder what
happened to the letter regarding copyright infringement. Also it has been
brought to the committee’s attention that some of the food carts may be
restricting a clear view and should be checked for compliance. Thank you,
Jeffrey.
