Meeting called to order at 10:06

  1. Additions to Agenda

  1. Spiderman – jumping on lamp post.

  2. Pier conditions/ Repairs/ Electric outlets/ 2nd line to kiosk will be brought to meeting with liaison today with city.

  3. Removal of carts, etc. behind kiosk.

  1. Approval of Agenda. Motion to approve Christine. 2nd by Don.

  2. Reports:

  1. Secretary Report (including minute’s approval): Motion to approve Christine. 2nd by Don.

  2. Treasurers Report: Motion to approve Don. 2nd by Christine.

  3. Participation Committee: January 3, 2011. Present at meeting Ed W., Ron A., Melanie G., Harriette V., Dragana S., Jeffrey K.

  1. Aaron Feldspar brought his camera for the committee to review his photographs of his work as requested.

  2. Jimmy Straela presented and demonstrated his fork art paintings. His artwork is accepted by a committee vote of 6-0. Paid $20.00 cash, jury fee.

  3. Dean Ewing presented and demonstrated his artwork doing caricatures. His artwork is accepted 6-0. Paid $20.00 cash, jury fee.

  4. Louis Condos presented his artwork of lights in a bottle and cigar purses. His work not accepted by the committee vote 5-0. Paid $20.00 cash, jury fee.

  5. Susan Hoefaer requested to be juried as a partner of Frank that has a food cart doing Mini Donuts was referred to the Board of Directors. Minutes written by Eddy.

  1. Pier Managers Report: January 2, cruise ship Silver Spirit docked till 5:15 pm. City worker moved the barricades and left them in the middle of pier. No key to open the gate at end of pier. The guy that moved them was very nasty. He told several people to F____ off, you move them yourself.

January 3, Ryndam docked till 6:00 pm. Reid given a night off for anger and cursing. Spiderman one night off for not staying in one spot. January 4, Someone arrested for stealing.

  1. Performers Report: Committee has been voted on. No issues.

Old Business: Suggested that Eddy write Green Flash newspaper for fundraising with Danielle, she is putting a proposal together to present to the Board.

New Business:

  1. Time change January 15, 2011. Sunset is at 6 pm. Performers lottery at 3:45 and Artist at 4:00.

  2. Boxing match held January 14. There will be no set up on January 13 and 14th.
