C. Participation Committee: In attendance Jeffrey, Eddy, Melanie, Harriet, Ron and

Dragana. There were 4 new applications and one add on.

1. Elise Scott asked to add on flattened bottles to there already approve embellished

flattened bottles. However at this time, we are forced to disapprove the add on as

such because of item M in the SOP's, which state that no vendor shall exactly

duplicate another vendor's product. Furthermore upon research the other vendor,

Sandy has a current membership and has set up at the pier twice within the last

nine months. So we ask Elise to please revise her product in such a way that would

its acceptance at the pier at this time.

2. Margaret Chance was approved for her crocheted clothing items bathing suits hats,

kitchen towels mittens and similar. She was advised that she could not display or

sell jewelry of any kind.

3. John Lundin was disapproved to sell his Pirates of Key West video that he has made

and commercially produced. However, he is being encouraged to become a

performer of fencing arts (per his desire as a fending enthusiast) and possibly then

sell his video as a performer vending. We ask the board if he can play the video

while he is performing. I have a copy of said video for anyone's perusal, and Harriet

has asked to keep it in the end to which I see no problem.

4. John Ingram and Rose Starr were approved to sell their driftwood and coconuts sign

posts with cities and distances as well as mugs, napkin holders picture frames, as

well as signs with sayings on them that they have come up with or as requested by

customers. We had considered limiting their wares to not include large signage

because of a current complaint but as we have handled the complaint and see no

problem see only fit to allow them to sell their versions also.

5. Tony Lochetto was approved with his bottle lanterns where he uses chain and glass

with glass appliques to decorate the bottles that the bottom has been cut off of and

the candle holder is then suspended inside by a chain.

D. Pier Managers Report: There were a couple of lost cameras, been returned to owner.

On 6/13 a lady tourist was fooling with Bushman, she was acting scared and pretended

to pass out and went to ground. NO one was hurt. On 6/15 a credit slip was run twice

two different days. Dave gave a slip to Bert to return the money and he ran it again. I

returned the money. A homeless person was posing as a parking attendant. He was

trespassed. Don Carney card # 111660364. 6/16 KA showed up late and left early with
