Board meeting 06/19/13

Mike called the meting to order at 10:16 board members present were Elise Scott, Ryan Stimers, Rebecca Berman, Mark Rigs, Mike Sattelmeier, Lee Anne McCarthy

The agenda was amended to add Gallery guide and a bike pump under new business. Ryan made a motion to approve the agenda, John seconded the motion, it passed.

Ryan Made a motion to approve the minutes of the meeting on 06 / 05 / 13 Lee Anne seconded motion passed.

Jeep stated that he wanted minutes from the executive meeting after the last board meeting.

Treasurers report: presented by John Ryan made a motion to accept the treasurers report Lee Anne seconded, motion passed

The pier manager report written by Bob was read by Mark. Mark made a motion to accept the pier managers report. Lee Anne seconded.

Solaya's letter was discussed it appears that the matter is resolved with all parties satisfied.

Ramdesch was reminded to find the pier manager when he arrived in order to pay.

The drinks vender with the pineapples has been told many times to quit throwing the pineapples in the trash and they rip the bag. Also she is still selling drinks in coconut husks. Elise made a motion to write letter to Dianne who sell pineapple drinks, instructing her to stop selling any kind of drinks in coconuts husks She is approved for pineapple and coconut blend drinks but she can't put them into coconuts. Also she stop using the trash can near her both Ryan seconded, motion passed.

There was a complaint that Ramdesh was stealing bikes. He says that he was borrowing bikes. He does borrow bikes from time to time. The latest bike was Johnny's bike. He first tried to fetch Miranda bike but it was locked then he went and borrowed Johnny's bike. Ramdesch submitted a letter than Miranda had given giving him the right to borrow her bike whenever. The matter was considered closed.

mark made a motion to approve the pier managers report, mark seconded the motion passed.

Since people were out of town there was no pc meeting. The rule changes are still being processed by the city. The sword-bill seller was seen selling undecorated sward fish. PC will double check if he can do that, and they will talk to him.

Alicia's letter was read, it's a mater of caps. The PC jurried her when hey believed that the photography cap was lifted. She will be put on a waiting list. The current caps stay the same. It was commented that the number of people with the right to sell is what must be counted, not who actually appears on the pier.

There was no performers meeting or report

Chi town was discussed Mark made a motion that chi town be suspended from the pier for a year as of today. Lee Anne seconded. The motion passed. Rebecca abstained.

Ryan asked for permission to chain up a bike pump to the kiosk. Mark had just bought one and he says Ryan can chain it up.

Elise has gotten us on the gallery guide. We are on their map and have a write up. Leanne made a motion that we pay $375 to the gallery guide Leanne seconded, passed.

Ramdesch asked to decorate the booth. Ray also wanted to do this and Mark had an interest. We will put together a group. Leanne made a motion that Ray Mark Ryan and Ramdesch form a committee to decorate the kiosk. This was seconded and passed.

LeeAnne made motion to meet only on the third meeting of the month Mark seconded the motion motion passed.

Mark made a motion to adjourn Lee Anne seconded meeting adjourned 11:01
