10-23-2013 Board Meeting Minutes.

10:02 Mike called the meeting to order Ryan Stimers, Lee Anne McCarthy, Mike Sattelmyer, Elise Scott and Mark Riggs were in attendance

Secretaries Report: The PC report was moved to the beginning of the meeting, And Zena Fund and Christmas Party were added under new business. Ryan made a motion to approve the agenda as modified, Mark seconded passed.

Ryan made a motion that the Official Ballot be added to the record of the Meeeting in which new rules were approved by the General Membership. Mark Seconded, passed. This is is regards to the lawsuit. The minutes were incomplete without them.

Ryan made a motion to approve the minutes from 10-9-13 Elise seconded, motion passed.

The PC report was presented by Susanne

the palm frond weavers must now sign a waiver

the PC has sent mike and Lisa a new letter

Mark made a motion to accept the PC report, it was seconded and passed

There was no treasurer’s report.

The Pier mangers report Was written by bob and Annie and presented by Ryan.

There was a discussion about the complaint, in which Mark complained that Blue copied his act. Some felt that we did not have a rule against copying. There was some feeling that this was an improper thing for blue to do.

Ryan made a motion that even though it is causing problems and is hurtful regretfully the board does not prevent copying of acts. There was no second.

Bob will talk to blue, he said he would quit that part of the show and he didn't

Amplifiers were discussed. They will lead to amplifiers wars. Leanne made a motion that as of today, there are only two amplified spots and no others. This is because this is the end of October. And the amplifiers were only approved for September.

Dominique complained that bible bill has been rude to the public. Calling them sinners.

Zena fund: they want to set up a tent for 3 or 4 days as a fund raiser. Pier manger will tell them where to set up.

Christmas party: Will be on the 20^th at the elks club. Cash Bar. 8pm to 11pm. This is on whitehead and Julian.

Lee Annne made a motion to end this meeting 10:43 seconded mark.
