November 6, 2013
In general, the past few weeks at the sunset celebration have run in a normal manner, however there are a few matters of concern that should be mentioned.
The following items needed particular intervention and are addressed below.
On 10-29 Danny, KC, and Rndesh were under suspicion of smoking crack cocaine in their Van. A police bust was facilitated due to the fact that Isaac notified the police without proof that this crack smoking was going on. The police arrived with there dogs and no cocaine was found. However, Danny had a small amount of pot in his possession and was arrested on a minor pot bust. He was later released on bond. This is not a Mallory Square issue as the entire situation took place in the parking lot.
10-31 Annie and Joe, the security guard were on duty, and witnessed the following:
At the performers lottery Jeep started yelling not to let Mark move his assigned spot on the pier to another spot. He then turned to Mark and said something about being a pedophile. Then he called him a faggot. This outbreak was also witnessed by a number of the artists who were waiting to draw for their lottery. After discussion by Annie with various board members, Jeep was suspended for the evening.
It is our request that all performers and artists be more respectful of each other. If you have a bone to pick do it when you are not representing the Sunset Celebration.
Respectfully submitted, November 6, 2013 Bob and Ann
