General Membership Meeting

Minutes

  1. The meeting is called to order at 12:07.
  2. The agenda is adopted by the board.
  3. A quorum is established (more than 20% of Participating Members are in attendance).
  4. The Ballot Counting Committee is established. Susanne, Gail, Jonathan.
  5. The list of candidates include: Greg Gutsche, Susan Shaal, Don Sullivan, Ron Lane, Mike Sattelmiere, Jace Anderson, Lee Anne McCarthy, Dominique Lefort, Mark Riggs, Antonio Rodriguez, Randesh and Joe Bement.
  6. Don nominates Jonathan Craft to be added to the candidate list.
  7. The candidates make their presentations.
  8. Voting begins.
  9. Treasurer's Report. Ron Lane presents the report. We in fair financial condition. There is a discussion about lowering the set up fee to $15. It's decided to leave it as is and the new board can reevaluate it after viewing the stats. Motion to accept the Treasurer's Report. Motion Passes.
  10. New Business. Ryan speaks about the Participation Committee's new duties- jurying performers. There is no criteria for the process. After much discussion it's decided to leave the process the way it is now until the beginning of 2015. This will give the committee, the board, and the performers a chance to come up with some new guidelines.
  11. The Chair calls a break to allow the ballots to be counted.
  12. The membership reconvenes. The ballots have been counted and the new board determined. The new board is: Antonio Rodriguez, Greg Gutsche, Susan Shaal, Don Dullivan, Ron Lane, Mike Sattelmiere, and Jace Anderson. First Alternate is Lee Anne McCarthy and Second Alternate is Dominique Lefort.
  13. The Meeting ajourns.
