1/19/05: Susanne V, Isaias M. Joel, Ryan S. Gave approval for Gerry L. And Monica G. to sell cookies pending home jury. Acceptance letter was given to pier manager. Isaias M. and Susanne V. did final home jury on the 29th and they were accepted.
1/21/05 Susan S. And Ryan S. home jury Julie McDowell she is approved.
2/7/05 we juried two people:
Tedrissa: Rejected, She was informed of the cap on caricatures, it was suggested she try other styles of 2D art no fee.
Lynne Troll: approved for paintings and prints, rejected for painted wooden birdhouses pd $15.
We did jury by mail and communicated to the applicant the following initial reactions.
Leroy Edwards: Negative for Digital art no fee
D Marbete: Positive for puppets pd $5
Anne Hopkins: positive for knitted items if they are handmade pd $5
Janey Klare: Positive for purse, hair wrap (clip on) 2 key chains, Negative for necklaces and earrings
We did one “add a product”
Cindy Dellett: approved for handcrafted heating & cooling pillows filled with seeds.
We discussed the following issues:
Gerry L, and Monica G: will be informed that their food must be prepackaged or else they must have a health dept approved cart (Susan S. will contact them)
Peter Berl: Will be informed by letter that he must have originals on display (Ryan S will write the letter)
Love22 will be informed, by letter, that he is not permitted to sell books (Ryan S. will write the letter)
Plans for future action:
Isaias M. and Susanne H. Will home-jury Bob Dam for turned wooden bowls when he comes back to town 2/14/05
Ryan S. Will get a list of regulars from O.J.
