P.C. Minutes 8/1/05

Attendance: Ryan Stimers, Joanne Hasmen, Elaine, Joel Ouellete

We juried 2 new people:

Dwayn Abby: rejected for Rune Readings paid $20

Terri Dallao: approved for Stained glass foil technique, must demonstrate soldering contact Ryan 393-9990. paid $20

We did 2 “add a products”

Will Soto: Approved for his Video WILL SOTO: Fresh in Key West. rejected for T-shirt, capped category. A copy of the VHS tape was given to Ryan and Joanne, and was viewed by them, all but one copy for records will be returned to Will. The video contained some segments that were in the border of being plugs for local business. Outright plugs for local businesses are not “representative of [the performers] performance” and should not be part of items that are to be sold by performers.

Mustafa: Approved for his CD ISLAND SUNSET KEYWEST. A copy of the CD was given to each pc member (4) for review. and all but one copy for records will be returned to Mustafa.

We discussed the following issues:

The PC discussed various possible policies for what items performers would be able to sell.

The conflict between Elaine and Shawn’s partnership and Shawn’s performance was discussed. It was decided that for Shawn to be a performer he must withdraw from the partnership and become an assistant. Final resolution was withheld until pc tells Elaine and Shawn if Shawn would be able to sell his flutes as a performer.

Joanne Hasman appointed new treasurer to replace Susan Schall who resigned from the pc. Elaine took her position in the committee.
