Typed by Ryan Stimers

Attendance: Ryan Stimers, Elaine DelPino, Susanne Buxton, Joanne Hasman, Myles Hupp, Michael Liguori

We juried 3 new people:

Nicki Wilson & Dave Redfern are approved for Rock “Oil candles”, Air brushed Sceens on sand dollars, floats, and other nautical media, and hair and face painting by airbrush. Myles abstained from this vote. Paid $20.

Victoria Dye is approved for most of her jewelry, however she is not accepted for fimo jewelry or any jewelry, the majority of which is made from seed beeds. Paid $20

Carleen Lim is accepted for “clay flower” hair ornaments. Paid $20

We did 2 “add a products”

Mike Cureton is accepted for screen printed shirts pending home jury. Since he intends to do his screen printing as well as his jury at a commercial shop the PC had required him to get a written statement from the shop, confirming that he will indeed be doing his own printing there. This is to conform with rule I “Silk screened items shall be designed, the screens made and items printed by the participant.”

Michael Patrick has applied for a chain escape which he wishes to sell. PC has delayed decision on this until the records can be consulted. We are researching what guidelines were created to show us what performers can sell.

We discussed the following issues:

We would like to Challenge the boards decision to allow unmatted prints for the following two reasons. First, it is a direct violation of the guidelines which have been guiding the celebration since 1984 and second the board has promised not to overturn the PC without reviewing the actual product in a joint meeting of the board and the PC.

Sandies rose girls need to jury in if they wish to sell at Mallory Square.

The PC request that the board appoint Mike (Tie Dye T-shirts) Cureton to the PC
