Attendance: Ryan Stimers, Elaine DelPino, Susanne Buxton, Joanne Hasman, Carol Lennan, Myles Hupp, Michael Liguori

We juried 2 new people:

Carleen Lim: is accepted for polymer clay bracelets textured and embellished; she is also accepted for polymer clay earings and pendants. she must demonstrate the polymer beads she wishes to sell. paid $20

Brook Copenhaver: is accepted for hair flowers which are painted beaded and glittered and made attachable to hair. paid $20 home jury performed by susanne alone because at the last minute Carol was sick and couldn’t accompany her.

We did 3 “add a products”

Ray Rolston: is approved for photography.

Enrique Enriquez is approved for hamburgers.

Henrietta and Don are approved for gift baskets containing their own food products, she is also approved for coconut candles, coconut drops and marmalade pending home jury by Ryan and Myles.

We discussed the following issues:

Henrietta asked if she could sell her gift baskets at a table while don had his cart if they dissolved their partnership. it was decided that they could not both sell the same items simultaneously (at the same time). and so dissolving their partnership would have no advantage. it was re affirmed that to the pc’s knowledge prepackaged foods may be sold at a standard vendor style table while operating as a vendor.

The PC amended it’s operating procedures to add the following rule. “E) At the PC’s discretion, The PC may inform people of our decisions immediately or delay informing them until the following board meeting.”

Susanne Van Hulst’s letter was reviewed. She wrote the following:

Juried in photography already: *** Sullivan, *** Isaac, ***Susanne Van Hulst, *** Elaine and Shawn, *** Harriett, *** New Guy, ** Girl with ponytail (name????), *Poly (underwater photo’s), * Tony, * Susan Johnson

*** = on a regular basis on the pier, ** occasionally here, * juried in can come back anytime

We have 8 active photographers at the pier already! do we really need more???????

It is not my job to lobby for common sense !!

The pc spent about 10 minutes talking about this issue. we modified her list as follows. Juried in for photography already: 1 Sullivan, 2 Isaac, 3 Susanne Van Hulst, 4 Alicia, 5 nicolas, 5.5 Elaine, 6 Harriett, 6.5 Ray: not coming but may return  Poly (underwater photo’s), Tony, Susan Johnson, Shawn. By our count we have 6.5 including the Nicolas as a full timer even though he has only set up once. this did not seem sufficient for a cap. Unlike jewelry, the photography on the pier is not a threat to the piers diversity.
