Barbra Bowers Is approved to sell her “young artists coloring book” and her cat book. She is rejected for the two anthologies which she appeared in because she is not the principal author or the work. paid $20

We did 1 “add a product”

Mary Cote is accepted for Bookmarks

We did 2 “7 day pass” applications

Tracy Womack is accepted for lampwork and will be notified by e-mail

Debbie Zwickey is accepted for purses but is asked to either give a brief demonstration how she makes her purses when she arrives, or else mail a picture in which you can see the hand crafting process. We would like to see a picture of you working on a purse and also your work area, raw materials, and tools. Sometimes you can do everything with one picture or you may have to take two or three. The number of pictures doesn’t mater

We discussed the following issues:

We discussed Ryan’s tip sheet for newcomers there seemed to be general approval. and allot of people gave ideas. it’s a work in progress.

The PC’s internal policies were modified in the following ways.

the word “people” in rule A (written below) was changed to “PC members” for clarification. The old rule read as follows: A) If four or more people on the pier agree to have a meeting, than all pc members will be notified by phone or personally, time will be arranged by those present.

The word re-jury in Rule B) “If a person has been away from the pier for over 24 months, and hasn’t been a member continuously. They must re-jury and are subject to all caps.” was changed to “bring their product and meet with the PC” implying that this process can be done in a more informal way on the pier with a quorum of 4 pc members. The word “Re-jury” sounded too intimidating

The PC would like to request that the pier manager introduce newcomers during announcements on their first day.
