Participation Committee Meeting - Minutes

September 15^th, 2008

Attending: Susanne, Jason, Pam, Ron, Sara, Hector, Meike

Juried were the following:

1. Ali Sullivan: Decorated cigar boxes. Accepted 6:1.

2. Carrie Disrud: Painted items and T-Shirts. Accepted 7:0.

3. Jenny Rodriguez: add-on. Photography, leather/feather hair clips. Accepted 7:0.

4. Don McIntosh: add-on. Conch Salad. Accepted 7:0.

5. Susan Johnson: add-on. Clay jewelry. Accepted 7:0.

Discussion:

The only discussion was about a potential cap on digital photography. The PC felt that it was necessary to impose a soft cap on digital photography and treat it just as we treat jewelry: if it is truly unique and presents a different and original point of view it should be accepted.
 

$40 in jury fees were collected.

The meeting was adjourned at 12:00 pm.
