Discussion:

  1. Difficulty making quorum, So Wink was appointed as an alternate by a Board member.

  2. Home-Jury of the three psychic readers (Eli family). Ron and Jason recommended that their approval be denied. Their approach to astrology was unconventional. They use a system of reading that seemed more of a tactic than a useful reading. In comparison to our current twilight readers, they are sub-standard. The committee voted to uphold our recommendation.

  3. Food Items: The committee discussed that seniority of food vendors begins on the first day of actual set-up on pier. Also, the committee voted to handle the jury of food items over a two-step process. One P.C. meeting the candidate introduces their food items they wish to sell; then, a following P.C. meeting they bring their food cart and all required paperwork to get final approval to set-up on pier. This will allow a smoother transition through the complicated process of code compliances and permits. Copies of their licenses will then be supplied to the Pier Manager by the P.C. Committee. APPROVED.

  4. Committee voted to uphold a temporary cap on DIGITAL PHOTOS, TAROT, JEWELRY, and FOOD until a final cap system can be formulated on the record. We would like to list this on our website. APPROVED.
