PC Meeting 03-02-09

4 New people were juried in:

1) Carlos SanJorge is approved for his shaped and painted metal sold on lobster trap frames.

2) Terry Alice applied for massage with Reiki She was approved for reiki but does not have a massage license so therefore is not approved for massage, she may do reiki but without touching the client.

3) Vasilka Chergaroua is approved for her silk screened and or hand painted T shirts.

4) Zurisaday SanJorge is approved for her drawings and paintings.

2 add a products

1) Jan Nelson was approved to add sausage Kebabs with sausage, peppers, pineapples, onions, rolls and her homemade fruit sauces, pending review of the product at the pier.

2) Jose Loli was approved to sell paintings and lobster trap frames

Discussion

there was a discussion long on caps, The board has instructed us to put caps on Tarot Readers, Jewelry, Food and Digital Photography. We should create a limit on all categories not just trouble areas. This is to be fair, most categories will never fill up to the limit.

When a person has been away for longer than 2 years they need to go to a PC meeting before they set up again.

Food was discussed, We have 2 new people at Mallory, and 5 more approved and coming to Mallory. We need a cap on food. In the last meeting a new system was created in which food vendors need to come back to PC with their cart and paperwork, before setting up for the first night at mallory. This was controversial. it was decided to overturn this rule and instead have an informative sheet to guide the food vendors and pier manager through the stages of coming to work at Malory (health dept, permits, etc...)

Sharona has quit we would like to appoint Michelle D. or Shirley S. to the PC with Jimmy B. as an alternate.
