New Products:
Elise Scott: was approved for her fused glass plates and bowls. paid $20.
Robbie Pittman: was approved for her jewelry trees, beach glass curtains and chimes made using items found on a beach. paid $20
Chris Byers: was rejected for his hand crafted pewter figurines because his reproductions are mostly of other peoples sculptures and not reproductions of his own original artwork. Paid $20
Craig "Durf" Durfee: was approved for his solar wood burning made with a magnifying glass & sunshine. Paid $20
Emily Shepherd-Vorlicek: was approved for chair massage therapy. Paid $20.
Wen Kui Wang (Jason): was approved for clay portraits and name painting. Paid $20.
Makhmudjanove Lola: Was approved for machine sewn purses, napkins, table cloths, and pillow cases. Paid $20.
Victor M. Berrios: was approved for handmade plant hangers and African Drums. Paid $20.
Brian Goritan & Ginny Cleary: were approved for giving advice, The PC requests that he have a sign or somehow express that his services are for entertainment purposes only. Paid $20.
Sarah McClimans: applied for jewelry and was told there was a cap. no fee.
Returning artist:
Sonja Wald: was approved for hand painted clothes. No Fee
Add a products:
Vasilka Chersarova: is approved for hand printed or hand painted cloth bags.
Partnership:
Lothar and Rita: are approved as partners Rita juried in for coloring Lothars caricatures, She also demonstrated her own drawing. When they set up as partners all items sold must be made by both of them. If they set up individually they may sell their own items but not items which they have made together. No fee.
Pre Jury by mail:
Shayla Diamond: after reviewing her items (beaded key chains, fan pulls, bookmarks....) she will be told that her items are very similar to commercially available items and therefore are likely to be rejected if she juries.
Greg Guard: After reviewing the wire names with spray paint he will be told that he has a good chance of being accepted if he comes down to jury in.
Discussion:
There was some discussion as to our need for new PC members, Tippi will be approached and also we will ask Leanne to join. We will try to recruit more people before the board meeting.
There was some discussion regarding an artist which some suspect is not making their own art, no action was planned.
There was some discussion in regards to the board over turning our judgment that John should not be allowed to sell sausages. A letter is being written to the board.
