meeting started 9:30
Attending: Wendal Winko, Shawn Conway, Ryan Stimers, Jimmy Brogdon, Ron Augustine, Jeffry was unable to attend do to a death in the family, He offered to Participate by phone but people felt that this was not a good idea.
Eddie Wolfred presented current issues. we have one mailed in Jury by mail, Eddie is still finishing up some paperwork. Such as list of current members.
We had a meeting to elect officers Shawn is chair and Wendal Winko is backup chair, Ryan is secretary and Wendal Winko is backup secretary. Shawn has volunteered to return phone calls.
Jurrying
John Ramunno: Jurried for gelato, roasted nuts and dried fruit. The gelato is made in a machine the machine is in Boca Raton. He also has a small machine. We approve of his food products but we need to see his equipment and we will arrange a home jury. He needs to use propane and not white gas at Mallory for his roasting.
Jess Rosen: jurried for painting prints and giclee's, decoupage on tiles. Did not pay because she is rejurrying/demonstrating. She is approved.
Hillary Dowson: Jurried for sugar scrub, Bath bombs, Mini ”burlesque” Top Hats. She is approved for those items.
Amanda Harbnson: Tote bags. She demonstrated many stages of the production process. Wink volunteered to go see her demonstrate on her sewing machine. She is approved.
Gwen Nichols: jurrried for jewelry cut from shells and pottery and sea glass. And crimping feathers into hair. We loved her jewelry but because of the cap on jewelry we can not approve her for it. She is approved for Feathers in hair. She is twilight (services) category.
Post jury meeting:
Wink is taking the home jury CD. Well report back to us.
We collected $80. which Shawn will take to the pier manager. Wink will go to the board meeting.
