After jurying prospective applicants, we had a discussion regarding space allocation and setups. In addition to the paragraph below, PC members felt the event had an image problem due to the increasing number of participants that have merchandise on the ground instead of on a table. We request that the pier manager instruct all participants display their products on tables or elevated displays.

Notice To All Members: Our rules state that each space allotment is 6’ x 8’. Many of our members are making their displays to large for the space requirements. The PC has been getting complaints from many members about this. This is a notice to all members to come into compliance with the space requirements as set forth in our rules. Your space is 6’ deep, the first 3’ of that space cannot be any higher than 4’. Your space is “8 feet wide”, please leave room to walk around your display. Don’t use your neighbor’s space to walk through. If you do not have room to walk around your display, modify your set up if necessary to accommodate your display and walk through so you don’t infringe on your neighbors. The Pier Mangers will be monitoring space sizes and will be suspending members if they are not in compliance. PLEASE BE COURTEOUS TO YOUR NEIGHBORS AND RESPECT THEIR SPACE!!!!!
