The policies in this document are established by the PC by majority vote
and may be changed by 2/3rds majority vote at a regular pc meeting. This change
must be put into the pc minutes including the exact wording of the change, and
the change must be noted in the final section of this document. The purpose of
this document is to create consistency in the PC’s actions and to put in
writing the rules which are traditionally followed by the PC. A current copy of
these rules will be given to each pc member, unless they chose not to accept
one, if possible, the current version must be posted online where the PC members
can see it. No policy is intended to conflict with the lease, bylaws, or
SOP's of CPS and if a conflict arises the above documents prevails.
A) Books can only be sold by their authors. In the case of multiple authors the authors must be partners.
B) All books sold at Mallory Square must be related to the
Florida Keys.
C) At the PC’s discretion, The PC may inform people of our decisions immediately or delay informing them until the following board meeting
D) Performers selling
1.
Performers who offer items for sale must pay
the same fee as artists and must get a State Sales and use Tax ID #.
2. Products must be brought to the P.C. For approval and record keeping of what is being sold on the pier.
3. Sales must be made next to their display within
the performers own area.
4.
Signs are limited to 1' by 2' and the display
is limited to 2' by 2' square at ground level.
5.
No hawking. Performers may only mention their
items at the hat line.
6. No items will be offered for donation by performers.
